With just several clicks, you can pick between 5 separate levels of security. If you start getting spam, you can begin with the lowest one and then slowly boost the level till you stop getting spam. We rely on one of the best and most popular filters out there called SpamAssassin. It ‘scans’ the header field and the body of every email that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a specific email or permits it to reach your inbox. Hepsia will also permit you to set up custom filters and either delete unasked-for email messages or redirect them to a 3rd-party address like spam@domain.com where you can double-check them at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our semi-dedicated server accounts offer exceptional spam protection guaranteed by the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter, which rates all incoming email messages based on a spam score in accordance with parameters and patterns, such as the recurrence of certain keywords and phrases, the subject, the sender, and so on. When you activate the filter for any mailbox through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you can choose between five separate levels of security – from very high to very low. If you keep receiving spam emails, you can increase the level, or if legitimate emails are blocked as spam, you can lower it. Activating or deactivating the spam protection requires as little as two mouse clicks and you can choose if the filtered email messages should be deleted instantly or if they should be delivered to a designated email address where you can check them at a later time, so as to ensure that important emails will not get lost.
